Dos logos exelentes y parecidos a la vez... el de la izquierda de Debian, una distribución de Linux, quizás la más "sólida" y el de Alinghi, un equipo de la america's cup, que significa "algo leve..."

La cosa es que hay una prohibición explícita de usar el spi en las piernas 1 y 3, lo que haría imposible la aplicación de mi teoría.

There was a time when setting a spinnaker or gennaker was allowed in the pre-start. In fact, it is something that we sometimes do when racing small boats on the world match race tour.
In recent years, the complicated nature and large size of the Cup boats has prompted the restriction of spinnakers at certain times during America's Cup Class races. Specifically, we are not allowed to use spinnakers in the pre-start, and on legs 1 and 3 (unless there is a large shift and the umpires hoist a special flag). This restriction tends to make the pre-start more even, and understandable to the general public. It also means the crews know they are entering an equal fight.

Como ganar la america's cup ? How to win the america's cup ?
Considero que tener una correcta estrategia para la pre-largada es uno de los factores más importantes para ganar la america's cup. Aquí expongo una táctica que diseñé, que permite, sacar ventaja en la situación más desfavorable.
I think that having a correct strategy for the dial-up is one of the most important factors in winning the America's Cup. Here I show my tactic , which allows, take advantage at the worst situation.
La escena empieza unos cuantos segundos antes de la señal de 5' . El barco amarillo está pensando “qué hacen?” “no llegan a la línea en el minuto 5' con lo importante que es!”
The scene begins a few seconds before the signal of 5'. The yellow boat is thinking “what they do?” "Do not reach the line in the minute 5'!"
El barco azul iza el Spinaker.
El barco amarillo entiende la estrategia pero ya es tarde.
The blue boat set up the Spinaker.
The yellow boat means the strategy, but it's too late.
Los dos barcos tienen la oportunidad de llegar en el minuto 5', solo que el azul lo hace al doble de la velocidad del amarillo.
The two boats have the opportunity to go in the minute 5', except that the blue makes it twice the speed of yellow.
El barco azul llega antes al cruce (o a la variante que se de) pudiendo pasar a la derecha de la cancha.
The blue boat arrives before to the crossing, may pass to the right side of the race course.

Beryl para Ubuntu Feisty y Gutsy
encontré este blog y está buenísimo, seguid las instrucciones, más no sin pensar. Siempre hay alternativas para todo

1 - Actualizar el sistema :
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
# no coincido particularmente con este bloque, yo no lo hice
2 - Agregando repositorios :
Editamos el archivo de repositorios :
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
# yo prefiero el kate (sudo aptitude install kate), se puede usar cualquier editor de textos, hay miles!
# sources.list es un archivo de texto
Agregamos las siguientes lineas :
deb http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org feisty main
deb-src http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org feisty main
# yo los copié tal cual, porque me parece que los de gutsy todavía no están. de hecho probé
# reemplazar "gutsy" por "feisty" y no me anduvo
Bajamos la llave de autenticacion de repositorio con el siguiente comando :
wget http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org/root@lupine.me.uk.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -
Volvemos a actualizar :
sudo apt-get update
3 - Instalamos los drivers de Nvidia :
sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx
sudo nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals --composite
# esto está buenísimo! yo lo hacía de manera mucho más complicada
Reiniciamos el entorno grafico con ctrl+alt+backspace
4 - Instalamos Beryl en Ubuntu Feisty
sudo apt-get install beryl emerald-themes
sudo apt-get install beryl-manager
Desde la consola, abrimos el manager con:
beryl-manager
Si queremos incluirlo en la sesion, para que lo cargue automaticamente cada vez que iniciamos, vamos al menu sistema/preferencias/sesiones, en programas de inicio clickeamos sobre "nuevo" y agregamos "beryl-manager" como indica la imagen
